Karate-Do Kyohan: The Master Text Gichin Funakoshi

In 1935, master Funikoshi published his third book: a master text titled karate-do kyohan. Interestingly enough, I compared this to Karate Do Kyohan, the master text by Gichin Funakoshi. In Japanese, the master text for a particular topic is called the Tora no Maki. Dai Nihon Karate-do Shotokai is the official representative of Shotokan karate. Kusugi is reported to have declared to Funakoshi that Karate-do Kyohan was the master text of karate.
